Dit is wat Black Snail Patterns over het patroon deelt:
This is a sewing pattern for Georgian men´s breeches of the late 18th century.
Breeches or Culottes are knee length trousers worn by men during centuries for day and evening wear.
This sewing pattern shows breeches of the late 18th century with a wide fall front, in-seam back pockets, two pockets hidden under the fall front and a watch pocket at the waistband (welt pocket). The breeches are buttoned at the knee, the knee band will be closed with a buckle. They have a wide waistband, buttoned in the front, the width of the waistband can be regulated with a cotton tape at the back. The breeches have a wide back, compared to modern trousers and are fully lined with a light to midweight linen or cotton fabric.
